PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Temp Range: -40℃ ~ 600℃ | Touch Screen Automatic Crude Oil Wax Precipitation Point Tester
The SH0545 Automatic Crude Oil Wax Appearance Temperature Tester is equipped with a touch screen. It supports a wide range of tests, such as glass transition temperature measurement, phase transition analysis, melting and thermal enthalpy testing, product stability evaluation, curing characteristic analysis, specific heat measurement and oxidation induction period detection.
Wax Appearance Temperature (WAT) is defined as the temperature at which wax crystals first precipitate out of crude oil. It corresponds to the temperature point where the sample curve begins to deviate from the baseline near the exothermic peak, marked as Tc.
In the test procedure, the crude oil sample is heated above its wax appearance temperature and then cooled at a predefined rate. The instrument records the differential heat flow between the sample and reference material at each temperature point, and generates a crude oil wax precipitation curve, with differential heat flow on the vertical axis and temperature on the horizontal axis.
