The SH407 X-ray Fluorescence Sulfur Analyzer utilizes the energy-dispersive principle with an electromechanical integrated microcomputer structure, enabling fast and accurate analysis. It complies with ASTM D4294, the standard test method for sulfur content in petroleum products by energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry.
Its repeatability and reproducibility conform to the relevant specifications of national standards GB/T 17040-2008 Determination of Sulfur Content in Petroleum Products (Energy-Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometry) and GB/T 11140-1989 Determination of Sulfur Content in Petroleum Products (X-ray Spectrometry), and fully meet the requirements of ASTM D4294-02.

The SH407 Fluorescence Sulfur Analyzer is mainly used to measure the total sulfur mass percentage in crude oil, petroleum, heavy oil, diesel fuel, kerosene, gasoline and naphtha. It can also determine total sulfur or sulfur compounds in coal chemical products (such as crude benzene) and other liquid samples.
In addition, it can be applied to determine total sulfur or SO₃ content in fine powder samples.
I. Main technical features
