Closed-cup flash point refers to the lowest temperature at which vapor from a petroleum sample briefly ignites when exposed to an open flame under sealed heating conditions. It is a critical safety parameter for diesel, fuel oil, lubricants and liquid asphalt, following the Pensky-Martens method.

The SH105B is a fully automatic closed-cup flash point tester developed by Shandong Shengtai Instrument Co., Ltd. It adopts microcomputer control and a large color LCD screen, completing the full test workflow automatically: temperature rise, ventilation, ignition, flash point locking, result printing and post-test cooling.
