The SH126E high‑temperature foam tendency tester complies with ASTM D6082 and SH/T0722 standards. This device is built to evaluate high‑temperature foaming performance of lubricating oils under 150 °C test conditions.

Test workflow: Warm up the test specimen to 49 °C and hold this temperature for 30 min before cooling it down to ambient temperature. Next, pour the treated sample into the standard graduated cylinder and heat it up to 150 °C. Feed dry compressed air through the metallic diffuser assembly for a 5‑minute aeration cycle. Right before cutting off the airflow, record static foam volume and dynamic foam volume. After stopping gas supply for the required holding period, capture post‑aeration static foam value, foam collapse duration, as well as the total volume expansion percentage.
