The SH112C Automatic Kinematic Viscometer is designed and manufactured in strict accordance with GB/T265 and ASTM D445 standards. It provides highly repeatable and accurate kinematic viscosity measurements for transparent and opaque liquid samples, including crude oil, light fuel oil, lubricants, additives and silicone oil. It is also suitable for high‑wax‑content samples and liquids containing substances insoluble at ambient temperature.

The instrument realizes fully automatic sample injection, temperature control, viscosity measurement, cleaning and drying. No on‑site manual operation is required. After setting the relevant parameters, operators can leave the site, and the instrument will complete the entire test process automatically.

Working Principle

The test sample is introduced into a matching capillary viscometer immersed in the constant‑temperature bath. The liquid sample is aspirated to the calibrated graduation mark. Timing starts when the liquid flows past the upper calibration mark and stops as it descends to the lower calibration mark. The instrument automatically calculates the kinematic viscosity of the sample.
