The SH112C automatic kinematic viscometer is engineered and produced in full compliance with GB/T265 and ASTM D445 standards. It delivers consistent‑accuracy kinematic viscosity readings for both transparent and non‑transparent liquid samples, such as crude oil, light fuel oil, lubricants, additives and silicone oil. This unit also works well for specimens rich in wax content or liquids carrying room‑temperature‑insoluble substances.

Featuring fully‑automated sample feeding, temperature regulation, viscosity testing, washing and drying workflows, the device requires no manual on‑site intervention. Operators may step away after completing parameter setup, and the equipment will run the whole testing procedure autonomously.

Working Principle

A test sample is loaded into a matched capillary viscometer submerged inside the thermostatic bath. The specimen is drawn up to the calibrated mark position. Timing initiates once the fluid passes the upper calibration mark, and timing ceases as the sample flows down to the lower calibrated point. The instrument computes the kinematic viscosity value of the test sample automatically.
