ST106 initial adhesion tester, also known as initial adhesion tester or tape adhesion tester, is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the new 2025 Chinese Pharmacopoeia "0952 Adhesion Determination Method - First Method: Determination of Initial Adhesion". It is suitable for initial adhesion testing of pressure-sensitive tapes, medical patches, self-adhesive labels, protective films and other related products. The label initial adhesion tester implements the standard GB/T 4852 "Test Method for Initial Adhesion of Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive Tapes - Ball Rolling Method".
Testing principle: Roll a steel ball over the adhesive surface of the adhesive tape placed on an inclined plate, and evaluate the initial adhesion by the maximum size of the steel ball that the adhesive surface of a specified length can stick to; or roll a steel ball of a specified size through an inclined groove, and measure the distance it rolls on the adhesive surface of the adhesive tape on a horizontal plate to evaluate the initial adhesion. It adopts the inclined plane ball rolling method, and tests the initial adhesion of the sample through the adhesion of the adhesive tape to the steel ball when the steel ball and the adhesive surface of the pressure-sensitive tape sample make brief contact with slight pressure.
