The core functions of this instrument cover multiple dimensions: Firstly, it can measure the basic whiteness, including ISO whiteness (R457 whiteness), and for samples containing fluorescent brighteners, it can also measure the fluorescent brightener. At the same time, it can measure the lightness stimulation value and blue light whiteness. The second is optical performance analysis, which can measure opacity, transparency, as well as light scattering coefficient and light absorption coefficient.
The ST001D liquid crystal whiteness tester has a wide range of application scenarios and is suitable for industries such as medicine, grain, flour, starch, papermaking, printing, textile dyeing and printing, ceramics and enamel, building materials, chemical engineering, and salt production. It can measure the whiteness and related optical parameters of various substances such as pulp, paper, plastic, starch, inorganic chemical products, and table salt. For instance, in the papermaking industry, the whiteness of paper and paperboard can be determined in accordance with the GB7974 standard; in the salt-making industry, the whiteness of table salt can be tested in accordance with the GB13025.2 standard; and in the starch industry, the whiteness of starch can be determined in accordance with the GB/T22427.6 standard.
The ST001D liquid crystal whiteness tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with multiple national and international standards such as GB/T 3978 "Standard Illuminants and Geometric Conditions" and ISO 2470 "Method for Determination of Blue Light Diffuse Reflection Factor of Paper and Board (ISO Whiteness)". This instrument adopts d/o illumination observation geometric conditions and is equipped with a 150mm diffuser sphere and a light absorber, which can eliminate the influence of specular reflected light. Simulate the D65 illuminant to ensure the standardization of measurement conditions. Meanwhile, the instrument is equipped with power-off protection, data communication (supporting network and USB interfaces), thermal printing and other functions, which can meet the precise detection requirements of object whiteness and optical parameters in various industries.
