The ST217A automatic drug relative density meter is designed and manufactured based on the third method of oscillating densitometer in the 2020 Chinese Pharmacopoeia 0601 relative density measurement method. It uses the oscillation tube method to measure liquid density, which induces oscillations in a U-shaped glass tube via electromagnetic waves, and calculates the actual density by comparing the frequency difference between the measured substance and the reference standard substance, featuring high measurement accuracy.

1. Constant temperature control: It adopts a constant temperature bath control to seal the sensor, its components and sample solution inside. The microcontroller controls electronic components for cooling or heating based on the temperature detected by the temperature sensor, stabilizing the temperature within 20℃±0.1℃ (customizable), avoiding errors caused by density-temperature conversion and ensuring measurement stability and repeatability.
2. Accurate data calculation and display: The microcontroller detects the sensor's oscillation frequency, calculates the liquid density using the frequency-density relationship mathematical model, and performs floating-point operations to avoid additional errors from insufficient operation bits. The density value is displayed in five digits for clear and precise reading.
3. Calibration function: When the instrument is not used for a long time and drifts, it can be calibrated with 20℃ pure water as the standard to maintain measurement accuracy, a function that glass density meters lack.
