The SY264 Acid Value & Acidity Tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with GB/T 264 Determination of acid value of petroleum products and GB/T 258 Determination of acidity of gasoline, kerosene and diesel fuels of the People’s Republic of China.
It is suitable for determining the acidity of gasoline, kerosene and diesel fuels (free of ethyl liquid), as well as the acid value of petroleum products.
This instrument adopts the method where ethanol is used to extract acidic components from the sample, followed by titration with an alkaline solution.
It is also applicable for determining the acid value of in‑service transformer oil and turbine oil, in compliance with GB/T 7599 Determination of acid value of in‑service transformer oil and turbine oil.
